Making the right choice

Our focus is you

  • Our sole purpose is teaching woodworking and furniture making to our students
  • Our school does not have any other commercial interests such as taking on furniture making commissions
  • We only teach one course at any time, so our focus is entirely on you and your learning

Small groups

  • Groups are small, ensuring plenty of individual one-to-one attention by your time-served dedicated tutors

Purpose-built facilities

  • Our workshops, classroom and other student facilities are all under one roof to create a practical and seamless working environment
  • Students have their own workbench and personal workspace that isn’t shared with anyone else

Award-winning tutor

  • Peter is an experienced and qualified lecturer, so he understands exactly what skills and knowledge are needed for success

Highly acclaimed awards

  • Our students have won many highly acclaimed awards including; The Young Furniture Makers Awards, The Alan Peter’s Award, The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers Design Awards and the Tormek Scholarship Award, to name but a few

Our location

An idyllic place to learn

  • Excellent transport links via the M5 and M50
  • Set within three acres of grounds on a 17th Century farmstead
  • Stunning views of the Malvern Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
  • Our central location allows easy access to Birmingham, Bristol, Stratford and London
  • A wide choice of local towns to visit or stay during your course including Upton-upon-Severn, Great Malvern, Cheltenham and Worcester

It far exceeded my expectations in terms of learning skills and the help and guidance I got from Peter. It has inspired me to go on to do more and more furniture making and woodworking.
