Terms and Conditions

  • All on-line and postal entries must be received by Wednesday 11th July 2012.
  • Anyone attending the Open Day on Saturday 14th July 2012, will be given another chance to enter the competition and the entry must be received no later than midday on the day.
  • The prize is a free course of your choice from the range of Short Courses offered by Peter Sefton Furniture School, subject to places being available; no cash alternative is offered. Any Short Course that has already been booked by the winner, will be refunded if the winner wishes to take that pre-booked course as their prize.
  • The winner will be chosen at random from correct entries received on Saturday 14th July 2012 (Open Day).
  • Entrants/winners must be 18 years of age or over.
  • The winner will be notified by Friday 20th July 2012.
  • All courses must have been completed by 31st December 2012.

GOOD LUCK!

Last year’s Open Day was a great success with almost 200 visitors who came to Worcestershire from around the country to see a great mix of demonstrations by Peter and the craftsmen that teach with him at the Furniture School.


It was a great day with plenty to see including Peter’s live tutorials on hand planing and dovetailing plus there were lots expert demonstrations; all giving visitors a feel for the sort of skills they can learn at the School and for Peter’s concise yet relaxed and friendly teaching style.
Visitors were able to find out all about the long and short furniture making and woodworking courses offered by the School and the event ended with a draw to win a week’s short course with Peter, which was won by a competition entrant from Sussex.

A fantastic barbecue kept everyone topped up, the weather held and the laid back atmosphere made it a really memorable day all round; this was borne out by many visitors staying all day to enjoy the varied activities on offer ….
