Open Day

Saturday 14th July 2012 - 10am-4pm

We are having an Open Day, so why not visit our workshops and have the chance to find out more about the School and our courses.  Over 150 visitors from around the country had a fabulous day last year, and we would love to see visitors both old and new again this year.

The Open Day is on Saturday 14th July, 10am-4pm, and there will be a chance to meet Peter and see professional demonstrations by experts in skills such as chair making, French polishing, tool sharpening and joint cutting.  This year we will be having new and different demonstrations so do come along.  There will be trade stands where you can get expert advice on buying tools, veneers, those elusive small quantities of timber and even machinery.

Plus, the School is also offering its Open Day visitors the chance to win the fantastic prize of a short woodworking or furniture making course of their choice, with the prize being drawn on the day.  So look out for the competition coming up on this website soon …
