About Peter Sefton

Peter is an award winning Master Craftsman and Furniture Maker with 27 years experience. 16 of those devoted to teaching and mentoring.
I always wanted to follow in my grandfather’s footsteps and become a cabinet maker and master craftsman, and having achieved this I’m able to pass on my commercial and teaching experiences to those who also want to learn the art of furniture making
- Left school and trained at Brunel College in Bristol alongside
John Makepiece OBE and Sir Gordon Russell apprentices - Achieved 9 City and Guilds Distinctions in Furniture Making
- Won the Fiddes and Son Award for Furniture Studies
- Won the “Best at Show” for Satinwood Carlton House Writing Desk
- Established furniture making workshop in Malvern producing commissions
- Created commissions for clients including:
